FULL SPECTRUM HEAT AND LIGHT THERAPY

Come in and relax with one of the newest trends in alternative wellness! Infrared saunas are becoming an essential pillar of the holistic therapy community because of their unmatched ability to detoxify the mind and body. Our sauna offers both far and near infrared therapy.

WHAT IS AN
INFARED SAUNA?

Whereas traditional saunas heat the air around you, Infrared saunas use light therapy to seep heat into your body – all the way down to a cellular level – and warm you from within. Infrared saunas require less heat than traditional saunas because they are able to reach the source directly. Most traditional saunas can reach temperatures of up to almost 200° F, but an infrared sauna can achieve better results than a traditional sauna at just 110°-130° F. Many people find this temperature difference more comfortable and are therefore able to not only stay in the sauna longer and gain more from its physical benefits, but also reach a significantly more relaxed, even meditative state.

INFRARED SAUNA BENEFITS

There are many benefits to infrared light therapy, including intense detoxification, skin rejuvenation, muscle health improvement, immunity improvement, calorie burning, and of course, profound relaxation. Infrared light therapy stimulates numerous metabolic processes and allows your body to do its job at heightened capacity, leaving you feeling uplifted and replenished.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT INFARED SAUNA

Will I be too hot in the sauna?

Our sauna has a digital touch pad to control the temperature that you desire. It can be turned down low enough that anyone can find a temperature they feel comfortable with.

Can I use the sauna if I am pregnant?

No! While the first trimester is the most dangerous time, it’s important for pregnant women to avoid saunas during the whole 9 months. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) states that becoming overheated in a sauna is not recommended during pregnancy.

How many people can fit in the sauna?

The sessions are for 1-2 people. An extra person can be added for an additional cost of $20. Please call to schedule more than 2 people. 4 people max.

Can I use a shower after the sauna?

We do not offer a shower after the sauna. If you float after a sauna (which is amazing) you will be able to shower.

What do I wear in the sauna?

Absolutely nothing! The sauna is a private session so you will be alone. If you come with a guest and are not comfortable being in the nude, it is recommended to wear a bathing suit.

What's the difference between an infrared sauna and a traditional sauna?

An infrared sauna heats your body directly rather than heating the air around you. It makes it feel more comfortable and easier to breathe in. The average infrared sauna temperature is between 120-140 degrees Fahrenheit (our sauna maxes out at 158 degrees), while the average traditional sauna temperature is 150-190 degrees Fahrenheit.

What should I eat/drink before my sauna session?

Eat very light before a sauna and drink plenty of water. Eating too much food before a sauna can lead to an upset stomach. We provide water but feel free to bring your own!

Can I bring my phone in the sauna with me?

You certainly can! Phones rarely overheat in the sauna. There is a spot inside the sauna to help keep your phone cool. There is also a Bluetooth option to listen to music if you would like to keep your phone out of the sauna.

Who should not use a sauna?

If you are pregnant, have an insensitivity to heat, have a fever, have a condition that inhibits your ability to sweat or have a pacemaker or defibrillator – we don’t recommend using an infrared sauna. Individuals that have metal pins, rods or artificial joints should check with their physician prior to scheduling. Use of drugs/alcohol is prohibited prior to using the infrared sauna.
